New England Patriots QB Tom Brady’s new two-year contract extension includes a provision that does not allow the team to use the franchise or transition tag on him for the 2020 season, according to sources. Also, the final two years of Brady’s deal will automatically void on the last day of the 2019 league year, allowing him to become a free agent when the 2020 league year officially begins in early March.
