Carolina Panthers QB Baker Mayfield has $3.5 million in incentives in his contract, which would make up the pay cut he agreed to as part of the Cleveland Browns trade. If Mayfield plays 75 percent of the snaps during the regular season he’ll make $250,000 if the Panthers win 10 games, $500,000 if they notch a divisional round win, $500,000 for an NFC Championship Game win, and $750,000 for a Super Bowl win. Also, Mayfield can make $300,000 if he plays 75 percent of snaps and Carolina finishes top five in the NFC or top 10 in the NFL in total offense, and another $300,000 if the team ranks top five in the NFC or top 10 in the NFL in points scored. Adding to all that, Mayfield gets $300,000 if he finishes in the top five in the NFC or top 10 in the NFL in completion percentage (minimum 224 attempts), and an additional $500,000 should he make the Pro Bowl.
