As NFL free agency approaches, let’s take a look at a number of notable IDPs who may be on the move this offseason. An IDP changing schemes, coordinators, and possibly even positions can drastically alter their fantasy value. There are a ton of big names on the defensive side of the ball hitting the open market this season, with a high concentration of DBs and DLs becoming available. We’ll focus on the cream of this free agent crop.
Unrestricted Free Agents
DeMarcus Lawrence (Dal, 27) – Lawrence backed up his dominant 2017 season (14.5 sacks) with a strong 2018 campaign (10.5 sacks). He finished as the #7 DL for fantasy with 77 FP. Lawrence didn’t have as much help on his D-line as it looked like he would have (injuries and suspensions were abound in Big D) but the dominant edge rusher still managed career highs in tackles (64) and TFL (15).
