Georgia DT Jalen Carter pleaded no contest to charges of racing and reckless driving filed against him in connection with a fatal car crash earlier this year, announced by his attorney Thursday, March 16. Carter avoided jail time, and his sentence includes 12 months of probation, 80 hours of community service, a $1,000 fine and participation in a defensive driving course, according to his attorney’s statement.
