Detroit Lions TE Logan Thomas is a candidate to start at quarterback against the Chicago Bears Thursday, Nov. 28, if QB Jeff Driskel (hamstring) is unable to play. He’s the team’s emergency QB and will be ready if called upon. ‘Nothing’s been said to me, but I understand the game plan pretty well,’ Thomas said. ‘I promise you, if I have to go back there I’m going to just sling it and whatever happens, happens.’ Thomas was drafted as a QB by the Arizona Cardinals in 2014.
