Carolina Panthers LB Brian Burns was acquired by the New York Giants Monday, March 11, in exchange for a second-round draft choice and a fifth-round draft choice. Burns has agreed to a five-year contract with the Giants worth as much as $150 million with $87.5 million in guaranteed money.
