Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (back, ribs, kidney) was dealing with a cracked rib and a lacerated kidney which had him hospitalized after Week 16’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple sources. Although he will not play in Week 17 versus the New York Giants, he has not been ruled out for next week’s potential playoff game if the Eagles clinch the NFC East.
