Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard has been the top option in short-yardage and goal-line situations during training camp and has impressed the team with his ability to catch the ball and hold up in pass protection, according to comments made by offensive coordinator Mike Groh.
‘(Howard has) done a really nice job both in catching the ball and in the protection. He’s been all over his protection. Done a really good job with that, been sound and firm in protection allowing our quarterbacks to step up in the pocket and make the throws down the field,’ Groh said of Howard.
