Dallas Cowboys DT Mazi Smith (shoulder) has been adding weight during the offseason, reaching 305 pounds and climbing, in his bid to play 3-technique under new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. A 2023 first-round pick, Smith has increased pressure to perform following a disappointing rookie season in which he struggled to gain comfort within Dan Quinn’s system.
