The Indianapolis Colts are expected to open the 21-day practice window for RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) Wednesday, Oct. 4, because his surgically-repaired ankle has been deemed completely healthy, according to multiple sources. There have been no new trade talks between the Colts and other teams, although one source claims that several NFL teams still have interest in completing a deal for Taylor and then signing him to a new contract which would pay him an amount in line with the league’s top running backs.
