Indianapolis Colts LB Darius Leonard’s back surgery could be connected to his lingering ankle and calf issues from 2021, per Zak Keefer of The Athletic. Doctors believe Leonard’s ankle injury lingered because of a calf issue, which was thought to be a result of a nerve in his back. Keefer also writes Leonard could be back at or near the start of training camp.
