Denver Broncos impending free-agent RB Melvin Gordon said that if he returns to Denver in 2022 that he doesn’t plan to be the backup to RB Javonte Williams. ‘I know eventually they want him to be the guy and to take over,’ Gordon said. ‘And the thing is, I’m still fairly young and I still want to compete at a high level. I just don’t wanna take a back seat.’
