It’s always a good idea to take a look back at recent player performances against their upcoming opponent. Things change fast in today’s NFL. Players change teams and coaches and coordinators come and go so we usually only look back 1-2 years unless there is a really noteworthy trend. Know your history. In many cases it has a way of repeating.
Cam Newton (Car @ NO) – Cam has lit up the Saints in each of his last three games against them. He’s averaging 37.4 FPG in those contests accounting for 10 passing TDs and 2 rushing TDs.
Kirk Cousins (Was vs. Phi) – Cousins is averaging 30.8 FPG in his last three games against the Eagles over the last two seasons. He threw for at least 365 yards with at least 3 TDs in two of the three and has combined for 9 TDs and only 1 INT in those games.
