Welcome to my weekly overview of offensive snaps and skill player usage. The goal of this piece will be to use snap counts to help us spot anomalies and identify offensive player usage trends. This should assist us in evaluating which free agent to target via FAAB and help us decide who to start on a weekly basis. We’re officially in bye week season, so our stark attention to detail is ever more necessary. Snap counts are not the end-all, be-all, of course. They are but one element in our analysis, though their predictive value in the fantasy sphere cannot be overlooked.
Week 9 Snap Percentage leaders:
- Christian McCaffrey, Panthers – 98.4% James Conner, Steelers – 84%
- Todd Gurley, Rams – 90% James White, Patriots – 78.8%
- Melvin Gordon, Chargers – 88.2% Kareem Hunt, Chiefs – 78.1%
- Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys – 88.1% Mike Davis, Seahawks – 72.8%
