Free-agent WR Jontre Kirklin (Saints) and RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn (Patriots) signed one-year deals with the San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday, Aug. 7. Financial terms of the contracts were not immediately disclosed. To make room, S Erik Harris was released and WR Terique Owens (undisclosed) was waived with an injury designation.
