Updating an earlier report, San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) is believed to have suffered a sprained MCL during the team’s Week 12 win over the New Orleans Saints, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Mitchell will undergo additional tests, but the team is hopeful this injury is not as serious as the one he suffered earlier this season.
