“On his SiriusXM radio show a month ago, Jeff Ratcliffe said the common mistake Fantasy Football commissioners make is ‘they act like they own the league and everyone else is just playing in their league.’ He went on to say, ‘Commissioners are stewards of the league; they aren’t the overlords. Ruling over the league with an iron fist will only create problems. Fantasy sports are about camaraderie, and you’re in the league together. So, leagues function best when they’re run democratically. Yes, the commissioner is in charge, but everyone should have their say and voice heard when any major decisions are made. That’s why I always recommend a league vote rather than a commissioner unilaterally deciding for the entire league…'”
