To make room for WR Chris Henry on the Bengals roster, Cincinnati terminated the contract of halfback Kenny Watson. The seven-year veteran played in three games this season, rushing for 32 yards on seven carries and catching two passes for three yards.

Wow, they seem to be willing to run thin at RB.

Not much.  He still needs to learn the offense and he's clearly behind Perry for carries.  It helps Perry's value as there was always the thought that Watson might work more into the mix.

they will resign watson next week im sure - he was going to be inactive w/injury anyways

the bigger meaning behind this is how good they feel about henry ...

perry has been seeing almost all the carries anyways

I hope your bet is right.

I know RB's can regress each year ... but the game's I saw Watson play in last year, I thought he looked legit, and thus drafted him in three leagues this year.

Benson would average 2.4 yd/carry against the Lions defense, so competition doesn't help his cause.
