Just missed it: Week Seven

Here is what I saw from Week Seven in terms of near TDs, big plays, and the like. As usual, I believe this is about 90% of what happened last week and the writing is presented more so in raw note form.

  • Pass to Seahawk WR Braylon Edwards in the endzone, but it was in-and-out out his hands.
  • 49er WR Kyle Williams was open for a longer TD, but QB Alex Smith overshot him.
  • Pass down the field to Seahawk RB Robert Turbin that could have been a TD, but he dropped it.
  • 49er QB Alex Smith had Randy Moss open in the end zone but didn’t see him and didn’t throw it to him.
  • Viking WR Percy Harvin had 106-yard return negated by a penalty.
  • The turf monster tripped up Ram WR Austin Pettis, who would’ve been wide open for pass from Bradford for a possible TD.
  • Redskin WR Josh Morgan had a TD catch taken off the board.
  • Pass to Cowboy WR Miles Austin in the endzone, but it was incomplete. He also had a catch on 3rd and goal, but was down at the 2.
  • Pass to Redskin TE Niles Paul in the endzone, incomplete.
  • Brown WR Josh Gordon almost scored on a nice catch, but was down at the 2. Gordon also (likely) lost the ball in the sun or else he would have hauled in a long pass down the field which would have been a TD.
  • Pass to Giant WR Hakeem Nicks in the endzone, but he wasn’t on same page as QB Eli Manning.
  • Panther QB Cam Newton misfired on a pass to RB Jonathan Stewart, and it could have been a TD.
  • Pass to Giant WR Victor Cruz in the endzone, but it was incomplete.
  • Pass in the endzone to Texan TE Owen Daniels was a no-go, and defensive personal foul called on the play. This was after his TD.
  • Pass in Titan TE Jared Cook’s direction in the endzone.
  • Pass to Cowboy WR Dez Bryant in the endzone; he had it but he bobbled it and it was incomplete.
  • Pass to Buc WR Tiquan Underwood in the endzone late in the game, but it was incomplete.
  • Buc WR Vincent Jackson just missed another TD and potentially a 4th by QB Josh Freeman at the end of the game, but Jackson was out of bounds in the back of the endzone.
  • Catch by Buc WR Mike Williams to potentially tie the game at the end of the game, but he stepped out of bounds and re-entered the playing field and with Freeman out of the pocket, it obviously didn’t count. He also had a pass thrown to him in the endzone with 6:00 to in the 4th, but it was incomplete, as he was well covered. On that same drive he had a fade in the endzone on other side, but incomplete
  • Pass to Jet TE Dustin Keller in front of the endzone was incomplete, but defensive holding on the call
  • Pass to Jet WR Chaz Schilens in the endzone, incomplete.
  • Pass to Raider WR Juron Criner in the endzone, but it was no good.
  • High throw in the endzone to Raider WR Rod Streater, but he couldn’t haul it in. Later, he had a pass thrown to him in the endzone, but it was broken up.
  • Pass to Raider FB Marcel Reece in the endzone, but it was no good.
  • Raider RB Darren McFadden had a goal line carry and almost scored, but Jags had 12 guys on the field to stop him.
  • Pass to Patriot WR Brandon Lloyd at the end of the game running to the endzone, but it was incomplete.
  • Pass to Patriot WR Deion Branch in the endzone in OT, but it was no good.
  • Steeler RB Baron Batch dropped an easy TD from WR Antonio Brown.
  • One of his many drops last week, Steeler WR Mike Wallace dropped a pass in the endzone, but in his defense it was deflected slightly.
  • Pass to Jet R Stephen Hill right in front of the endzone, but it was picked.
  • Patriot RB Stevan Ridley had a goal line carry from the 2, but he lost 1 yard and they passed for the TD after that.
  • Pass to Raider TE Brandon Moore in the endzone, but he fell and it was incomplete.
  • Raider defense almost had a safety, but Rashard Jennings’ forward progress had him outside the endzone.
  • Pass to Raider WR Darrius Heyward-Bey in the endzone late in the game, but there was defensive pass interference.
  • Pass to Giant TE Martellus Bennett in front of the endzone, but it was incomplete
  • Pass to Bear WR Earl Bennett right in front of the endzone, but it was knocked away.
  • Pass to Lion WR Calvin Johnson in the endzone, defensive PI, next play he had the ball in the endzone, and Tillman knocked it out.
  • Pass to Lion TE Tony Scheffler in the endzone, and it was almost picked.
  • Pass to Panther WR Brandon LaFell in the endzone, but it was incomplete
  • Pass to Panther TE Greg Olsen in the endzone, but there was defensive holding, Mike Tolbert scored on next play
  • Pass to Packer WR James Jones running into the endzone, but it was broken up nicely. On the same drive, Jones had a ball thrown to him in the endzone with QB Aaron Rodgers scrambling, but it was incomplete. Later in the game Jones caught a pass in the endzone, but he was out of bounds.
  • Ram WR Brian Quick had a ball thrown to him in the endzone and he made a nice jumping attempt, but was out of bounds.
  • Texan QB Matt Schaub had WR Kevin Walter wide open for a 50-yard TD but he overthrew it.
  • Brown TE Ben Watson caught a TD pass, but it was taken off the board on a penalty away from the play. WR Greg Little scored on that drive.
  • Pass to Colt WR Reggie Wayne right in front of the endzone, but it was knocked away.
  • Titan QB Matt Hasselbeck had WR Kenny Britt open for what could have been a 45-yard TD, but he overthrew it.
  • Titan RB Chris Johnson just missed a third TD on a nice run in which he was tackled at the 1, Harper scored on the drive.
