Buffalo Wild Wings Update: Week Fourteen

Just to give an update to those who have been on the edge of their seats checking here left and right to get an update on this team, things are not looking good.

Despite the fact that I’m actually #2 overall in points scored, I’m out of the playoffs, so this week’s matchup means nothing. I did pick up the Denver defense this week over NO. One of the main reasons I’ve scored some points lately is I finally got a #2 RB I can use with some confidence in Chris Ivory.

So to review, I drafted quite well in this PPR league, but the loss of Jermichael Finley and the lack of a #2 RB killed me. It’s my fault I didn’t find a way to get a #2 RB.

QB: Tom Brady

RB: Adrian Peterson

RB: Chris Ivory

WR: Greg Jennings

WR: Mike Williams (TB)

WR: Jeremy Maclin

Flex: Malcom Floyd

TE: Jacob Tamme

PK: Garrett Hartley

DT: Denver

Pretty good team in a 12-team PPR with experts, but again, I’m dead.

Each year, we publish an article about Overvalues & Players to Avoid, but make a point to say that at the right value, anyone is worth drafting. While I agree with that philosophy for the most part, there is always a group of players I want nothing to do with due to injury history, continuing off-the-field issues, too much competition at the position, or […]

This off-season, we spent some time watching each and every NFL team again, trying to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses with players we might have missed in the rush of the regular season. The intention was to feel more confident in our analysis for what turned out to be our biggest player profiles ever.We spent more time on some teams than on others, and ev […]
