Love me some Percy Harvin

Not sure if everyone has drafted already, but a last minute thought I’ve had since the end of this past week. I’ve been concerned with Harvin’s issues for weeks, probably months. But Harvin says he’s ready to play, and if he plays let me tell you: he’s going to do really well. With Sidney Rice down probably for half the season, Harvin’s going to become Brett Favre’s go-to guy. It’s so obvious and staring us all in the face. If Harvin’s headaches don’t bother him, he’s going to be considered a fantasy steal. I’m saying the guy has top-15 potential this year- – if the health is fine.

So basically, if you haven”d drafted already, I say get him. It’s a risky move, but this is a risk that appears worth taking.

Le’s see if I’m right on this one, but I like it!

Last-Minute Tips

It is pretty crazy out there right now, and I simply cannot handle a blog post like the one I’m listing right now, one that will certainly create many questions I do not have time to answer.

But if you’re interested, I have kind of a real-time tally of items on my mind RIGHT NOW, which includes final gut feelings, vibes and recent news. Subscribers can check it out here:

I deal with a lot of this on today’s podcast, which you can hear right on the homepage as well.

Good luck drafting.

We continue to update the position battles around the league, but in this blog, I thought looking at preseason playing time would be interesting. The depth chart doesn’t always tell the whole story and it’s certainly worth noting when players get in the game and who they get to play with, whether it’s with the first-team offense or the backups. If you’re loo […]

  • Poll Result Analysis: RB Sleeper Candidate Targets August 12, 2014
Over the last week, we posted a poll asking you which RB sleeper candidate was at the top of your targets list. The results varied throughout the week and Falcon rookie RB Devonta Freeman led most of the way, but things certainly changed after a full week of preseason games:                           As you can see, the final results put 49er rookie RB Carlo […]

  • How the New Focus on Defensive Penalties may Affect IDP August 11, 2014
FantasyGuru.com IDP Analyst Corby Yarbrough can be found on Twitter @Corby_Yarbrough. Not that there is anything we as IDP players can do about it, but I just needed to vent my grief that an already inconsistent aspect of fantasy football has the potential to drive us even a little more crazy in 2014. Week One of the NFL preseason is in the books, and if the […]
