Buffalo Wild Wings Update: Week Three

I won my game last week with good performances from most of my players, and because I benched RB C.J. Spiller, who is permanently on my bench. It looks like RB Clinton Portis, expected to be my flex starter, is now my #2 RB, and I will have to roll with more WRs than I’d like. I’m glad I picked up Mark Clayton, who was THE WR pickup of the week last week according to me, since he’s probably now a weekly starter for me. Since I’m hurting a little at RB with mediocre (for now) depth options like Willis McGahee and Chester Taylor (plus Spiller), I stashed-and-hoped with RB Anthony Dixon, who would be money for me if Frankie Gore got hurt. Garrett Hartley came through for me, so he’s my guy, and I’m giving the Raider defense another try, since I think QB Derek Anderson stinks.

Here’s my lineup for Week Three:
QB    Tom Brady, NE QB
RB    Adrian Peterson, Min RB
RB    Clinton Portis, Was RB
RB/WR    Mark Clayton, StL WR
WR    Greg Jennings, GB WR
WR    Jeremy Maclin, Phi WR
WR    Malcom Floyd, SD WR
TE    Jermichael Finley, GB TE
D/ST    Raiders D/ST, Oak D/ST
K    Garrett Hartley, NO K

If a team wants to attempt a two-point conversion, the ball […]

It’s a great way to scratch your fantasy itch early, and to shake off some rust and […]

  • The LeSean McCoy Trade, RB Declines, and Chip Kelly March 4, 2015
If you’re a 24/7/365 football nut, chances are you’ve already digested just about all you can about yesterday’s blockbuster LeSean McCoy/Kiko Alonso trade between the Eagles and Bills. I’ve gone on record on Twitter saying I don’t like the deal for Buffalo – McCoy is an eight-figure back coming off a down year, still a […]
