Introducing Draft Analyzer Software at FantasyGuru.com

I would not exactly say that I am the best in terms of planning, so I can be behind with some developmental stuff, and I certainly am this year. But better late than never, and since it’s only August 1st, we’re not that late. Bottom line, I’m always committed to improving our offerings, and I’m taking that to a new level in 2010, so it’s mostly “all good.”

We do have a few more interesting things coming down the pike very soon, including a weekly salary-cap contest that we will have this year with low entry fees and large cash prizes (stay tuned for details on how to sign up for all 17 weeks of the NFL season) and a really cool GRAND PRIZE, and a redesign of MyGuru hopefully completed this week (it’s way better and easier to follow).

But right now I’d like to “soft launch” here on the blog the new software package we’ll be offering this year. I know this has been an area we’ve been lacking in, so this year we’ve teamed up with a major industry player in this realm. Here’s more information on the software.

The ninth edition of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” will follow the Falcons this preseason. As for the rest of the league, he […]

  • The Prince Connection: Rodgers and Nelson July 7, 2014
If you follow along over at my Twitter account @FG_Dolan (shameless plug), you’ve probably noticed my undying love for Jordy Nelson, and the fact that I’d happily welcome him onto any of my fantasy teams this year. First of all, he’s madly productive as is: he hauled in 85/1314/8 last year and averaged 16.5 FPG in a PPR league. That was good enough to rank h […]

  • 12-Team PPR Mock Auction Review, Strategy, and Lessons Learned June 5, 2014
On somewhat of a whim, I decided to do some mocking on Wednesday night, but instead of trying to compare ADP numbers and working out the best spots to pick from, my idea was to run an auction. We ended up getting a 12-team PPR mock auction with a $200 cap done in a few hours, although with the informal atmosphere, a handful of teams ended up going on autodra […]
