Check out a new tool

We’re ready to “unofficially” introduce a new tool, the “Draft Guru” program. It’s very similar to the excel draft tool, although not quite as flexible. We will be adding a few things to it soon. But if you don’t have or like excel, this is something to check out. Basically, it’s a stand-alone draft program that you can use to manage your draft. It will help you pick the best possible players, and it can also be used to track and log any draft. What I like best is the mock draft capability. Using the mock draft feature, you can test out a lot of strategies drafting from your specific draft position and draft against the computer using ADP, VBD, and more (for the computer to make all the other picks). You can export your results when you’re done. I like the simplicity of it. It really should not be very overwhelming for a novice computer user, as the excel-based tool is. If you like the excel tool, just keep using it, as we’ll continue to update it regularly this year.

It is playoff time in the world of fantasy football, so if you are still making meaningful lineup decisions, I salute you for getting this far. As we have been saying, this is no time to be a hero, so a running theme in this week’s blog will be my comfort level with players. Let’s get into this week’s games. Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Buccane […]

If you are still alive, congratulations. With just a few weeks remaining in the fantasy football season, now is not the time to be a hero. Being safe is not a bad thing and there are plenty of good matchups that should allow you to do just that this week. Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens Ray Rice and the Ravens ran all over the Browns last week and cou […]
