Funny plug for me and the site today on Sirius/XM NFL Radio

I’m listening to Sirius/XM NFL Radio Channel 124 with my boy Adam Schein, and Solomon Wilcots, who  I also know and worked with at NFL Network for a year. Some guy calls up and asks them a fantasy question, and Schein and Wilcots proceed to give me and the site an incredible but also funny plug. It’s funny because of Schein’s style, which is boisterous to say the least. Take a listen using the link below.

Another mock expert draft today

I have yet another mock expert draft today for another magazine, so I’ll be posting the results as they occur.

This is a 12-team draft, and it’s NOT a PPR league. I draft 10th, so it will be interesting to see if it’s viable for my to stick with the WR-WR plan drafting that late; it sure was in a PPR draft earlier this month.

3:16: Wow, first two picks Chris Johnson and Randy Moss. Surprised they were both there, can’t ask for more than that picking 12th. Calvin was temping, but Moss has Brady. Big difference.

3:26: Not an easy call with my 3rd pick, but I went with Dwayne Bowe. Although it’s not a PPR league,. Bowe should see a ton of passes in the red zone, so if he gets his act together, he could easily score 10 TDs. Next up, I felt it was too early for a QB and I would have taken Thomas Jones as a safer pick, but with him unhappy with his deal, over 30, and with others there, I played to win witih Reggie Bush. Again, I feel Bush is going to explode if healthy. That’s the issue, but even with Pierre Thomas the […]

I’ve also done an industry draft – you can call it an “expert draft” if you’d like – so I’m already two […]

  • Fantasy Kickers and the New Extra-Point Rule May 20, 2015
The long-rumored and predicted rule change in the NFL passed at the owners’ meetings this week – extra points are officially moving from the two-yard line to the 15, changing them from the near-automatic equivalent of a 19-yard field goal to a 33-yard kick. If a team wants to attempt a two-point conversion, the ball […]

I recently finished up a #MFL10 draft that I put together with some of my followers on Twitter, a practice that Tom Brolley, Matt Camp, and I will be continuing throughout the summer with our friends at MyFantasyLeague. It’s a great way to scratch your fantasy itch early, and to shake off some rust and […]
