I am up against it now

I’ m staring a massive magazine deadline squarely in the face right now, so I don’t have any time to post anything relevent here. I think the biggest challenge with the magazine is to get so much content up-to-date. We have over 100,000 words written, probably way more, but it’s quite another thing for those words to be insightful, accurate, and timely, and that’s what I’m dealing with right now.

What I do have is some prep work for the mag that isn’t all going to be used for publication, so I figured I’d post it here.

Here are some red zone and pass target numbers for QBs and RBs from 2008. Tomorrow I’ll post them for WRs and TEs.

Drew Brees

Brees led the league with 635 pass attempts.

Brees tied for 2nd with 95 attempts in the red-zone.

Brees had 13 goal-line attempts, which tied him for 11th.

Peyton Manning

Manning was 5th with 555 pass attempts.

Manning was 9th in red-zone attempts with 76.

Manning had 16 goal-line attempts, which was good for 7th.

Tom Brady

Brady had 7 pass attempts in 2008.

Brady did not have a red-zone attempt in 2008.

Brady did not have a goal-line attempt in 2008.

Kurt Warner

Warner was 3rd with 598 pass attempts.
