I am up against it now

I’ m staring a massive magazine deadline squarely in the face right now, so I don’t have any time to post anything relevent here. We have over 100,000 words written, probably way more, but it’s quite another thing for those words to be insightful, accurate, and timely, and that’s what I’m dealing with right now.

What I do have is some prep work for the mag that isn’t all going to be used for publication, so I figured I’d post it here.

Here are some red zone and pass target numbers for QBs and RBs from 2008. Tomorrow I’ll post them for WRs and TEs.

Brees led the league with 635 pass attempts.

Peyton Manning

Manning was 5th with 555 pass attempts.

Manning was 9th in red-zone attempts with 76.

Manning had 16 goal-line attempts, which was good for 7th.

Warner led all QBs [...]

We continue to update the position battles around the league, but in this blog, I thought looking at preseason playing time would be interesting. The depth chart doesn’t always tell the whole story and it’s certainly worth noting when players get in the game and who they get to play with, whether it’s with the first-team offense or the backups. If you’re loo […]

  • Poll Result Analysis: RB Sleeper Candidate Targets August 12, 2014
Over the last week, we posted a poll asking you which RB sleeper candidate was at the top of your targets list.
