Go see The Dark Knight (like you need me to tell you)

I’ve always been a Marvel comics guy, so I never got into Batman all that much. It was Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, The Punisher, Captain America, etc. Superman? He was completely irrelevant to me growing up. I still don’t get the attraction to Superman, and the recent remake was so bad I actually couldn’t get through it.

When the first Batman movie came out I was just out of high school, and I kind of dug it, but the second one was horrible. It was literally one of the five worst movies I’ve seen in a theatre. I don’t even remember the next couple of batman’s all that much, but I know this: whoever made them should be embarrassed after seeing the last two installments of the comic movie.

In case you were unaware, Director/Screenwriters Jonathan and Christopher Nolan have completely re-invented the franchise, and it’s good they did because Batman is totally bad-ass now. Not trying to be bad-ass, like in the other movies, he actually is, and the movies are as a whole. The first one was dark, and terrific.
