29 Rounds of Hell

As you may know from reading this blog, I’m heading on vacation this week, starting tomorrow. This is a big deal since it’s the first time I’ve taken one in July for many, many years. That’s in part because I’ve been busy coaching or watching my oldest son in many baseball tourneys in June and July, but also because I’m usually swimming in work. But this year, I’m going to recharge the batteries by taking a week off with the family. So it’s been a hectic week, as I’ve tried to get as much done as I can knowing I won’t be working (at least too much) until 7/21. I have a ton of personal stuff going on too with some construction on the house, office stuff, etc.

That said, it wasn’t exactly great timing in terms of the CBS Sportline IDP Draft yesterday. As usual, I was forced to do like 17 other things while drafting, which is not advisable. It basically took up my whole afternoon since it was 29 ROUNDS! Yep, 2-9, with IDPs. I literally got to the point at which I would have drafted “anyone” if such a player existed in the site’s draft software. I [...]
