More Expert Leagues

I did a couple more expert drafts late last weekend, and I’m not thrilled with the results. I think both teams are solid, but I’m not doing handstands. One of the drafts was for NFL.com – one that I imagine will be posted on the league’s official site shortly. My biggest problem in this one was there was some confusion as to whether or not we could start a flex or not. We were instructed to draft at least 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 Flex, etc. But on the league’s official scoring page, it did not list a flex starter. Once again, I was too busy to ask a simple question, and I drafted as if there was no flex starter. There is a flex starter, so that factor probably hurt my team.

So make sure you are completely familiar with your league’s setup in terms of scoring, roster requirements, etc.

Also make sure you’re not distracted when drafting, which was my problem with the other expert draft I did late last week. This one was for FoxSports.com. I’m not making excuses – regular readers know by now that I’ve done well in about 90% of my leagues for [...]
