Welcome to the FantasyGuru Blog!

Here it is folks, FantasyGuru.com’s entry into the blogosphere.

Almost ten years ago, when I wrote a column for a magazine in another industry, I wrote about these things called “blogs” and how they could be the next big thing on the Internet – so it’s not like I’m not familiar. In a way, I’ve had a blog for a while in the whole site, and especially in my Hansen on Strategy in-season column.

I didn’t go ahead with a full blog before because I think they are a bit egotistical. I don’t really expect people to be terribly interested in my opinions – even though they’re usually correct.

However, I’ve received a lot of positive feedback on the strategy column over the last few years, and this year in particular received a lot of requests to do a blog. And not for just football. I got a letter from a 60-year old women asking for more “Off Football” stuff because it was her way to keep up with pop culture and the like, if you can believe that.
