Weekly MATTchups: Week Eleven

It is an ugly slate of games this week, but we had some interesting matchups last week and things did not turn out so well. Let us jump into the Week Eleven action.

Carolina Panthers at Detroit Lions

Cam Newton is coming off one of his worst games in his young career, and admitted the Titans did a great job getting pressure on him, which the team didn’t react to well. He better be ready from more of the same this week against an even better Lion pass rush. It’s hard to trust him even against a beatable secondary and a defense that lost a top pass rusher in Trent Cole. If you’re playing in Week 17, can you trust DeSean Jackson, […]

Here are the top stories I’ll be following in Week 15 with some insight on some of them. Pittsburgh (8-5) at Atlanta (5-8) Will Julio Jones play? It’s obviously a huge key for Matt Ryan’s ability to hang with the Steelers in a high-scoring game. Without Jones, they have no explosiveness in the passing game and Ryan will have to dink-and-dunk to Roddy White a […]

Here are all the storylines that I will be following in Week 14 along with some commentary and information on the matchups. Pittsburgh (7-5) at Cincinnati (8-3-1) Can Ben Roethlisberger play better against a solid secondary that has limited him to only 16.0 points a game against them in his last four games? Is Heath Miller someone we can actually trust in th […]
