We have come to the end of another week, and while the two sides completed another round of not-so-secret negotiations, no new CBA has been signed. Meanwhile, the locked-out players continue to work out on their own, trying to replicate a typical off-season, in a year that’s been anything but typical.

This is Chris Johnson's car. He needs more money for bigger rims.

Chris Johnson may holdout … The star RB made the same threat last season, but reported after the team tacked an extra $1.5 million to his base salary, which was among the lowest on the offensive side of the ball at $500,000. Johnson is set to make $800,000 in 2011, but is ready to sit out to get something much more significant. His rookie deal locks him up through the 2012 season, but after seeing Chief RB Jamaal Charles get an extension worth about $5 million/year with just a year and half of high-end production, Johnson has stated he wants even more, especially guaranteed money, considering he’s been one of the most productive backs in the league for the last three seasons, including a record-setting 2009 when he ran for 2006 yards and broke Marshall Faulk’s mark of [...]

Here are the top stories I’m following for Week 17 Cleveland (7-8) at Baltimore (9-6) Brown QB situation. Brian Hoyer (right shoulder/biceps) did not practice Friday. Rookie Connor Shaw is set to start for them at Baltimore. Do they give Terrance West any snaps to evaluate him? He played 0 snaps last week. Does Josh Gordon do anything to leave us something t […]

Here are the top stories that I will be following in Week 16 for fantasy. Philadelphia (9-5) at Washington (3-11) Robert Griffin III did play better last week, but does it mean anything? It’s hard to trust him even against a beatable secondary and a defense that lost a top pass rusher in Trent Cole. If you’re playing in Week 17, can you trust DeSean Jackson, […]

  • Week 15 storylines December 13, 2014
Here are the top stories I’ll be following in Week 15 with some insight on some of them. Pittsburgh (8-5) at Atlanta (5-8) Will Julio Jones play? Without Jones, they have no explosiveness in the passing game and Ryan will have to dink-and-dunk to Roddy White a […]
