Fantasy Guru Daily: 6/23/11

As we wind down these (hopefully) last few weeks of lockout news, we are getting a vibe that the players sense the whole thing is about to end. So while there are still some interesting things going on, we really hope this is the proverbial “calm before the storm.”

Tiki Barber goes at it with NYC radio host… OK, maybe “calm” was the wrong word to use. In a contentious interview with New York’s “Numbah One” Mike Francesa, former Giant RB Tiki Barber was insistent he is ready to return to the NFL and talked down the notion that his widely panned broadcasting career with NBC was a failure. Barber’s agent Mark Lepselter apparently had to be included in the interview as well, which makes for some interesting confrontations with Francesa. Here are all the story lines I’m following for fantasy in Week Seven.  N.Y. Jets (1-5) at New England (4-2)  Who will carry the load at RB for the Patriots? You’d have to think this week it will be Brandon Bolden, since James White is inactive and Jonas Gray was just signed off the practice squad today and is active. Can Bandon LaFell keep it up and emerge a […]

Here are the top stories I’ll be following this week in the NFL… Indianapolis (3-2) at Houston (3-2) Can the Colts maintain their high level of play with 2 starters on the OL out tonight? Can Trent Richardson bounce back from a poor game last week against a tough Raven defense? Can Dwayne Allen score yet again and remain a huge factor? He’s being moved all o […]

  • Week 5 story lines October 3, 2014
Here are 88 story lines I’ll be following in Week 5 . Minnesota (2-2) at Green Bay (2-2) Will the Vikings continue to play like they did last week? It wasn’t a typical Norv Turner offense, more like Seattle’s with Russell Wilson. Teddy Bridgewater was smart about not exposing himself to hits, but he did get banged up in only one start and he might miss the g […]
