He avoided serious legal ramifications by pleading to a lesser charge stemming from car-chase incident that took place in April and had to pay a small fine. However, just one day later, he was arrested and charged with obstruction, tampering with evidence, and resisting arrest after officers in New Jersey saw what they thought was marijuana in his hand. Britt is once again expected to avoid any serious charges, but the Titans are not expected to let him off easy although they do consider him the best player on the team outside of RB Chris Johnson.
