Fantasy Guru Daily: 5/24/11

Blah blah lockout blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah appeal blah blah court. That should cover the big happenings, so now we can go ahead and give you another Fantasy Guru Daily.

NFL cancels Rookie Symposium… The first event casualty of the lockout isn’t going to get fans too upset, maybe because most of them don’t even know what it is. And honestly, it probably won’t get the rookies too upset either. The annual symposium, at which the rookies are taught about the history of the game and warned about the risks of being a wealthy young male and celebrity, has been axed thanks to the lockout. The symposium was scheduled to kick off June 26 in Canton, and it would have been required attendance for any rookie. • Week 17 storylines December 26, 2014
Here are the top stories I’m following for Week 17 Cleveland (7-8) at Baltimore (9-6) Brown QB situation. Brian Hoyer (right shoulder/biceps) did not practice Friday. Rookie Connor Shaw is set to start for them at Baltimore. Do they give Terrance West any snaps to evaluate him? He played 0 snaps last week. Does Josh Gordon do anything to leave us something t […]

  • Week 16 storylines December 19, 2014
Here are the top stories that I will be following in Week 16 for fantasy. Philadelphia (9-5) at Washington (3-11) Robert Griffin III did play better last week, but does it mean anything? It’s hard to trust him even against a beatable secondary and a defense that lost a top pass rusher in Trent Cole. If you’re playing in Week 17, can you trust DeSean Jackson, […]
