Fantasy Guru Daily: 5/5/11

Stay Watch: 2011 continues as we wait to hear if the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis grants the NFL a stay, which would extend the lockout at least another month through the expedited hearing on June 3. For now, we bring you actual football news.

Bryant shows up … After Jerry Jones and Dez Bryant were unable to meet last Friday about Bryant’s recent off-the-field troubles, but Bryant was finally with his teammates Wednesday as the Cowboys conducted workouts. QB Tony Romo said Bryantmoved around well, which, if true, is a good sign for someone who had surgery to repair a fractured fibula five months ago. Bryant missed the first day of informal player-led workouts because of a family issue but said he plans to be there for the rest. Bryant is a big key to the Cowboy offense this season, as if he stays healthy and focused, he has the talent to become a big-time receiver and certainly showed flashes of that last year. Roy Williams clearly isn’t the player he once was, and there’s plenty of room for Bryant to emerge as a playmaker on the outside opposite Miles Austin.
