COACHING TAPE – WEEK 12 (11/26/08)

EAGLES OFFENSE VS. RAVENS DEFENSE

Eagles ran 64 offensive plays, and had only 206 total yards
Eagles 3-13 on third down conversions, making them 6-31 (19%) in the last 2 games
Second play of the game Celek wide open in the middle of the field, McNabb did not pull the trigger, Instead checked down to Klecko – Left a 15-20 yard play on the field
McNabb not seeing the field clearly, A little slow in processing information – Sack to end the first series was a good example, Jackson wide open on shallow cross with running room but McNabb never got to him
McNabb had Jackson running free on a go route versus zone coverage on first play of the third series, Either didn’t see him or didn’t feel comfortable making the throw; Checked it down to Klecko on the same side – Again, another example of a QB struggling with clarity and confidence

  • Week 7 story lines October 17, 2014
Here are all the story lines I’m following for fantasy in Week Seven.  N.Y. Jets (1-5) at New England (4-2)  Who will carry the load at RB for the Patriots? You’d have to think this week it will be Brandon Bolden, since James White is inactive and Jonas Gray was just signed off the practice squad today and is active. Can Bandon LaFell keep it up and emerge a […]

Can Trent Richardson bounce back from a poor game last week against a tough Raven defense? Can Dwayne Allen score yet again and remain a huge factor? He’s being moved all o […]

  • Week 5 story lines October 3, 2014
Here are 88 story lines I’ll be following in Week 5 . Minnesota (2-2) at Green Bay (2-2) Will the Vikings continue to play like they did last week? It wasn’t a typical Norv Turner offense, more like Seattle’s with Russell Wilson. Teddy Bridgewater was smart about not exposing himself to hits, but he did get banged up in only one start and he might miss the g […]
