FantasyGuru.com led me to an ESPN Fantasy Football overall title in
2005! I beat out over 1 million teams and won a $5k Best Buy gift card
and a trip to Detroit for the Super Bowl! I can honestly say that
without the insight I got from Fantasy Guru, none of that would have
been possible. FantasyGuru.coms service is quite simply a cut above the
rest!
I
think its going to be impossible for your site to top what you
gave us last year: excellent inside information, insightful
analysis, intuitive gut feelings, superior web site tools, more
stat-based stuff than ever, and even a much more attractive
interface. But I think you will top yourselves in 2006!
Bryan Thomas
I was
desperate week 17 for a RB so I checked out your rankings for the
highest-rated free agent. It was Houstons Vernand Morency, who I
hadnt heard of. Blindly, I picked him up and started him. 130 totals yards
and a TD later, I was our league champ. Un-be-lievable!
James Dilks
As a result
of your draft plan I ended up with Kevin Jones but also Carson
Palmer, Steve Smith, Larry Johnson, Chad Johnson,
and the Chicago Bears defense. You made me look like a %#$&ing
genius! Thank you!
Isaac Escava
The most
powerful selling point for your site is at the top. John Hansen seems to
have earned the "guru" name. By constantly having success in professional
fantasy leagues, how can anyone argue with the website's credibility? I
trust John's analysis as gospel (to a fault maybe?) and feel extremely
confident in his strategy articles that I am getting the best advice
possible. Plus, his advice works...I'm in the playoffs every year.
Kevin Slagle
You guys
amaze me every year with the new tools and tips you provide and I couldn't
even begin to think of dreaming up something you haven't thought of.
Terry Horner
You
practically begged us to trade for Rudi Johnson mid-season when he
was struggling. I did, and sure enough, he was money down the stretch.
Dave Warren
The week
after you guys recommended trading Priest Holmes, he went down. I
respect and value the analysis you guys put up on a daily basis because I am
confident that you have done your homework.
Mike Slayton
I finally
followed your draft plan and boy did it pay off. I drafted Tiki Barber,
Warrick Dunn, Torry Holt, Carson Palmer, Larry
Johnson and Chicago's defense and boy did it pay off. They
laughed at my draft this year because of Dunn Palmer, Johnson, and Jimmy
Smith. Now I'm laughing my way to the bank and crown. You're the best by
a million miles. I don't know how you do it, but you always seem to hit the
nail on the head.
Mike Kennedy
You always
nail a nice sleeper DT for me that no one is targeting and that I get
between the 7-9th DT taken (Chicago Bears in both my leagues this
year).
Dave
DeSantis
I made some
nice pick-ups through the year because of your advice. Kevin Curtis,
Joe Jurevicius, and Marion Barber helped out through some
tough by weeks and injuries. Thanks for your advice I know I couldn't have
done it with out your help.
Michael
Mitchell
I
particularly appreciate the dynasty league perspective that you give in the
preseason. You seem to be ahead of the curve on that.
Tom
MacDonough
This year's
IDP coverage was right on, easy to read and understand, made the difference
in several of my games this year, thanks.
Ryan Winze
Your advice
on taking Larry Johnson in the mid rounds really, really paid off
down the road. Your late season advice (and I mean getting instant emails
from you guys when a stud goes down) like Ryan Moats, Cedric
Houston and Josh McCown kept me alive and I ended up winning my
main league. Keep up the great work and I'll be back for years to come.
Gary Engen
I went back
and read your preseason article on players to take with your last pick or
one of your last picks and I was floored at how many 2005 successes were on
that list: Willie Parker, Kevin Curtis, Ben Watson,
Ryan Moats, Jerramy Stevens, Bobby Engram, Chris Perry,
Samie Parker, etc. You gotta be kidding me!
Vince Gates
Fantasy
Guru.Com changes the way you approach a FF season. There is so much more to
consider than, who is the best player to draft or start. The site brings all
of this together through a series of articles and the tools that are made
available. I compete in three leagues and have become the Fantasy expert.
Gene Lillis
I cant
even enough "Gut feel" articles from John Hansen. I'd love to know which
players he's avoiding next year like he avoided Jamal Lewis and
Ahman Green this past year.
JD McCall
This was my
first year and was skeptical in the beginning if paying for a site to help
me would be worth it. At first I was worried with my team starting out 0-2
but with the help of the Waiver Wire advice from this site and their
rankings on players anticipated performance I finished off strong and went
14-0 the rest of the way to the Championship of my league.
Tom Spaeth
The information every week is above and beyond what I
expected from preseason, first snap, to the super bowl. The customer
service is awesome. I double subscribed to the site when I signed up not
knowing the site was messed up. I received a refund in the mail 2 weeks
later after verifying the information. If you are a serious fantasy
football nut like myself Fantasy Guru is a must to take you that extra step.
Jeremiah
Mantei
You offer
loads of info at my fingertips: a multitude of tools to help me make solid
decisions in drafting a team, setting a lineup and evaluating free agents.
FantasyGuru.com has pocketed me close to a $1,000 already, with another $700
within reach. Keep up the great work!
Jim
Karinshak
I thought
your IDP coverage was great. Last week (Week 15), for example, you had
Adalius Thomas highly rated and Keith Brooking further down the
list. I picked up Thomas off waivers and started him over Brooking on the
way to a 10 pt. win - with Thomas' contribution being the difference. There
were many other examples throughout the season where your extensive coverage
on matchups and defensive statistics helped me choose the right LB, DB, or
DL.
Jeff Keener
The timely
information, especially on Sunday's mornings is like no other. The insane
amount of statistical data that you provide is right up my ally.
John Ferazi
Ill never
forget how in September you pegged Eli Manning as the next great QB
(after correctly picking Carson Palmer the year before) and he threw
for 300 yards and 4 TDs merely days after that. Amazing.
Ed Phelps
Last year,
a friend with 15+ years of fantasy experience dating back to the pocket
calculator days, rated Guru as the best site by a wide margin...in fact, he
pretty much said it was the "only" pay site worth the $$. So this fall I
signed up shortly before our 12-team league draft. I now consider most other
sites fluff and eye candy.
Craig
Hodgkins
You nailed it
with Steve Smith, Hines Ward, Steven Jackson, even
Rudi Johnson turned out OK. Got screwed by Culpepper, Gonzo, and
Baltimore, but thanks to your advice, I was able to recover.
Ryan Morgan
I love all
the articles you guys put out, but even more so, the stats page that you
guys maintain. Stats such as targets, RZ carries, etc are invaluable, and
stats geeks who play this game can never get enough. We can get "normal"
stats anywhere, but continue to add those "extra" stats, and youll have at
least one loyal customer right here.
Jason M
I subscribe
for all the up-to-date information on key issues in fantasy football such as
injuries and depth chart movement. Its good to be informed so you can make
the right calls in a timely manner. This year the preseason information was
the best ever and helped me draft my best team in 10 years.
Jason
Matoush
The
absolute best preseason reading in the industry, as well as the best
in-season weekly reports and updates. The 'Draft Plan' article is always
enlightening.
John
Galipeau
You guys do
a great job of sticking your necks out and taking aggressive positions on
players. Sometimes you guys hit home runs, and sometimes you guys strike
out. But serious fantasy guys like myself appreciate that you guys take
chances, and don't just regurgitate the same old fantasy fluff that I can
read most anyplace else. I've subscribed to your service for 5 years
straight because your opinions are intelligent and are backed up with balls.
Brian
Shaffer
I also
participate in an office pick em pool at work and to no surprise have won
it the past two years utilizing the Gurus picks every week. Im officially a
subscriber for life!
Chris
Enfanto
You guys
somehow get better every year. More coverage & features at the same price.
Who can complain?
Kenneth W.
Holizna
You guys
rock, the best analysis period. I often laugh my butt off on game day, as
so-called "experts" make their predictions on TV. No comparison. If someone
asked me how they could really make a name for themselves in the pre-game
commentary business, I'd send them to FantasyGuru.com with a stack of 3X5's
and a Sharpie! Keep it up!
Ryan Morgan
The bottom
line is that for a nominal fiscal investment and at most an hour reviewing
your concise weekly reports, I have been able to stay on top of each of my
fantasy teams and am able to not only be the most prepared person at my
draft, but have insightful information to play the all important mid-season
waiver game.
Matt Mueller
Your waiver
wire and trade now helped a manager that drafted Corey Dillon,
Kevin Jones, and Mike Anderson as his three starting RBs make the
championship game.
Phil George
Your advice
is not reactionary and is based on fact as much as possible unlike other
mainstream sites (i.e. ESPN), where they make predictions based on last
week's performances (how insightful), I trust you to take into account the
individual and team matchups posed "this week" and more often than not,
those players are in position to succeed, and often do.
Todd Higgins
This was
definitely your best year for IDP's and since 5 out of 6 of my leagues use
them, I was elated.
Larry Kopp
Being
perfect is impossible but making the playoffs every year is doable thanks to
FantasyGuru.com. With the constant updates and breaking news, along with no
doubt the best breakdowns of the games, these guys always give me options
and a chance to win on Sunday.
Frank
Passalaqua
I never
would have drafted Steve Smith in 2 out of 3 leagues without the
draft plan.
Brandon
Hansen
The draft
is where its at and your 2005 draft plan is what did it for me. While there
were runs on QBs and defenses I stuck with your plan. I ended up with 3
stacked teams nobody wants to play against. You told me who to draft, when
to draft them and why!
Ken Curtis
Last year,
in a profound display of arrogance, I went out on my own for the year and
finished in sixth and out of the money for the first time in 5 years. So
this year I return two you humbled and looking to get over the hump for my
first league title. I followed your draft guide and to my extreme delight I
have led my league practically wire to wire (I took first after week two).
Bryan Glore
Love your
players to trade/players to trade for feature. I made a few great trades
and strengthened my team for the playoffs. You guys helped a lot with making
me realize that I had to build a team with great matchups for the playoffs.
Rob
MacDonald
Awesome
info with no fluff. I love the straight up analysis and opinions. Other
sites will give you both sides of the argument and leave you basically
staring blankly at the computer screen trying to figure out what they meant.
Scott Cerny
Driven by a
solid draft strategy and supplemented by good work on trades and waiver
wire, Im 1st in points in my league and playing for the Super
Bowl.
Jim Flynn
For the
first time ever, I really looked over your draft plan and took notes to make
sure that I didn't get caught up in the moment and make a big mistake. It
proved to be GOLD because both of my drafts were strong and I am at the top
of both 12 team leagues that have veteran owners.
Roger
Mojsiejenko
This is the
best, most informative fantasy football service in existence. Period.
Tony Kubat
I feel your
strength is identifying productive players that usually fly under other
peoples radar before the draft. I've drafted better in the last couple of
years. With the flood of information available now for fantasy football its
hard to find those gems once the season is under way.
Troy Willard
This is my
3rd year subscribing to Fantasy Guru, and while injuries always play a major
role in anyones success/failures, you guys always have someone waiting in
the wings to pick up. This year I was one of the many, including you guys,
very high on Kevin Jones. While he could have busted many people's seasons,
your draft strategy and waiver wire pickups helped me get good depth at the
RB position, and my roster as a whole. Also some of my mid-round picks, a la
Carson Palmer and Steve Smith ending up being big enough studs
that most weeks I thought, who is Jones?
Jesse Karpen
The DRAFT
PLAN is worth the price of the subscription ALONE. Please don't worry about
the sleepers and advice you don't hit on. I don't subscribe to have someone
tell me to pick Shawn Alexander with the #2 pick - I subscribe because you
told anyone who would listen to wait for Carson Palmer while loading
up at RB. Well Done. Dont change!
Curby Barker
I've been
using your site for 2 years now and I can't stop singing the praises of your
service. It's so good, I had to tell my buddy about it at the beginning of
this season (I was really reluctant to if you can imagine). Now, both of us
are in the championship game in all the leagues that we are participating
in. Your information is one of a kind and I love all the email updates I get
on the players and game time weather conditions.
Larry Lui
I've been
playing with basically the same core of guys on ESPN's FFB site since 96.
The Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field league consistently finishes near the top
of the league index ratings so needless to say it is very competitive. The
first year I used your service I carried a #1 ranking on ESPN's FFB overall
leader board for 12+ weeks. I went into the playoffs ranked #1 but finished
with a #6 overall ranking after my team tanked during the championship
weeks. After trying other methodologies/services I went back to your service
this year with great success. I should be in the top 15 after the last two
weeks but the leader board has not been updated.
Jerry Guidry
Quite
simply, this is the best of the services offered. I've been using it for 10
years and sometimes tried others in addition, but I am back to using this
one exclusively. Whether its the league with my buddies, or the WCOFF
league, this is the source of information I use. I consistently win or place
near the top of each league I participate in.
Darren
Armani
In the 3
years I've used the service, I've never finished out of the money. The
service is worth at least twice what you charge. The office pool picks also
won me some money this year as well.
Joe Roth
I
downloaded your 2005 draft tool and spent days inputting and adjusting
everything just like I wanted. Then disaster struck 1/2 hour before
draft.... my laptop hard drive ate itself. With no time left, I printed off
a copy of your cheat sheet and went with my gut. Oh yeah, and a copy of
your 2005 draft plan. Between my guts and your plan, I sit on top of my
league. I am so far ahead right now that I could pick up all players on IR
and still win.
Greg
Kilberger
I love the
fact that I can use your analysis, and then run multiple reports on you
tools (SOS, Pass Target, etc.) to make my final line-up decision.
Andy Wall
FantasyGuru.com
is like my mom. It feeds, clothes, and gives me sense of security just like
moms do!
Larry
Trantham
I drafted
for a co-worker last year. Before I drafted for him, he had me read your
strategy guide from 2004. After watching Antonio Gates, Thomas
Jones, and others excel I knew the site was too valuable a resource to
ignore.
James Vender
A few weeks
ago I was contemplating sitting Jason Witten. You touched on what the
other tight ends had done against this team so I started him. 2 TDs and
plenty of yards later, I won by one point.
Marty
Ollenberger
Your site
has always been ahead of the game in fantasy reporting, and this year you
took things to an even higher level. I know from experience that going
against your advice can sometimes be very costly, and this year I learned
from my mistakes.
Steve Wood
I
subscribed to the site this year because the magazine was so good, I figured
the site would be better, and it was. There's was a lot of great advice on
who to trade/trade for, who I should get on the weekly waiver wire, and who
I should play every week. I will definitely subscribe again next year.
Bart Johnson
The
thorough analysis and rankings you offer are based upon well-supported
analysis and speculation; not just re-tread information from previous
seasons. After a single season of using your services, I proclaim myself a
loyal subscriber.
Dave Wagner
As a
rookie, I was pursuing any avenue that would keep me competitive with the
veterans. This site was recommended to me by a co-worker. All the other
owners would laugh, and roast me on the message board about subscribing to
your service. Well, there is only 1 person laughing now. That would be me.
Brandon
Romines
Your site
is a great one-stop-shop for current information and strategy. I was able to
work the WW successfully and pick up players like David Garrard and
Ryan Moats before they were on anyone elses radar.
Bryce Poland
The
Preseason Coverage was excellent. I especially liked some of your bold and
contrarian calls. Putting Carson Palmer higher than most lists helped
a lot. Discovering Stephen Davis a week or so before everyone else
was huge. I stashed Ricky Williams on my roster cheap based on your
preseason report and used him when it counted. I took a flyer on
Cadillac Williams and it helped me to wrap up the top points award in my
league.
Bob
Degenhardt
Even though
I kept up to date with the waiver wire, I found it difficult to actually
execute a pick up with draft selections including: Carson Palmer,
LT, Lamont Jordan, Torry Holt, Anquan Boldin and
the Indy Defense. I played in four leagues this year and went into
the playoffs with a first-round bye in three of four. You can't ask for more
out of a draft!
Damon Rolfs
You are one
of the few sites out there who give GOOD IDP and Kick Returner data.
Todd Braden
I drafted
Steve Smith, Torry Holt, Larry Johnson, Thomas Jones,
Michael Vick and I am going to roll this week to bring home the
championship on top of the points title.
Jon McHugh
Thanks for
your great in site and the waiver wire addition. I picked up Marion
Barber and used him the week he scored 2 TDs for me and I won, then I
traded him and Julius Jones for Cadillac Williams and It has
put me over the top.
Roy Hale
Thanks to
your site and your preseason prep. I dominated one of my leagues this year
by taking 2 RBs, 2 WRs, than Tom Brady. I followed in the 7th round
with Carson Palmer who was my starter of course and took Neil
Rackers late to compliment this team. Picking up Chicago off waivers
balanced my team real well. Brad Theriault
The new
features and reconstruction of the site is really a major upgrade over what
was here previously. Even better is that the price remains the same. You
easily could have kicked up the subscription a few bucks and I don't think
anyone would have cared.
Tony Spera
The site
gives solid intelligence in a timely and easy-to-follow presentation. It's
a reliable, dependable resource week-in and week-out.
Rob Gorrell
I took the
Indy Defense due to your recommendation, and started them all year,
and they were great. With Defensive teams there's not much else you could do
better that I can think of.
Jon Ries
The
preseason and draft info/prep alone is worth the subscription fee. Each year
John and the Fantasy Guru staff have put me in a position to have a
successful season. The detail and insight is unparallel in my opinion. The
info is timely, informative, and with a level of detail that is not
overwhelming, but enough to help you make your picks each week.
Chris
Ullrich
I am in a
keeper league, TD only, and the Sleepers information is always a good way to
find the next best keeper. You sold me on Brian Westbrook when
no-one on the planet knew about him a couple of years ago and he has paid
off big-time! Not only that, you sold me on backing him up with Moats, when
everyone else was thinking Lamar Gordon or Reno Mahe...great
call This year you sold me on Larry Fitzgerald and again, big pay
back. I am having my best year ever at 12-2 in the regular season set-up
good for the playoffs.
Bill Bixler
I loved
your preseason draft plan. I followed it to the letter. Im in first place
with a 14-1 record. Ill win near $3000 this year because of your help. I
look forward to subscribing next year.
Craig Hickey
Every year
before heading into our draft - I feel I am already one step ahead of my
friends. Guru's advice has enabled me to draft studs like Carson Palmer
and Steve Smith & last year picking up unheard of TE Antonio Gates.
The weekly updates, emails, rankings, waiver wire targets, and production
tracker pages have constantly kept me up to date & have propelled me into
winning or placing in the money each and every year.
Patrick
Wright
Great call
on the Chicago Bears D. I got laughed at in a couple of leagues. They
don't use the guru. Go figure.
Michael
Descala
I felt that
I knew a lot about the NFL, however fantasy is very different and The Guru
lays out all of the information available perfectly. The draft plan, waiver
wire info and weekly rankings are the most useful aspects of the site for
me. The advantages that The Guru has given me are making the savvy late
round pick (Matt Hasselbeck 2 yrs ago, Carson Palmer this
year), making the most of free agency each week, and most importantly...the
draft plan. Anyone can lay out players in order of preference but The Guru
helps you to lay your own plan out.
Paul Starstrom
I can't
complain, you helped me win 5K in Vegas and hit the nail on the head with
Rudi Johnson who was getting no love and I took 25th overall.
James
Loveless
Fantasyguru.com
staff and John Hansen present the best Fantasy Football advice, insight you
can find anywhere. Every year you top yourself and throw the winning
touchdown to your subscribers and fans!
Frank
Fabsits
I won my
major league after drafting and losing Javon Walker, Darrell
Jackson, and Isaac Bruce because I drafted 5 solid RBs and traded
3 (including Priest Holmes before his injury) for WR replacements
based on your Trade advice (Anquan Boldin and T.J. Houshmandzadeh
with Willis McGahee). Special thanks for selling me on Tiki Barber
who lasted to the end of the 2nd round, making sure I draft Larry Johnson
in the 6th, and waiting on QB until at least the 8th round and getting
Tom Brady. I have been a subscriber for 6 years and have won 4
championships in those last 6 years.
Steven Fein
I have been
a Guru subscriber as long as I can remember. While many of my opponents
think I am a football Guru, I must admit I am simply educated by one. To
play FFL competitively and not have access to this level of information is
just foolish.
Trent
Olinger
I think the
service is worth at least twice what your charging already. It is the best
and most informative of all sites I have come across. Already can't wait to
see what new features and improvements you have in store for next year.
Sidney
Giffin
I'm in a
IDP league and I had the best def. ranking 2nd in sacks, first in tackles
and 2nd in INT's. I picked up Shawn Merriman, Lofa Tatupu,
DeAngelo Hall and Will Smith around week 6. Your IDP information
is by far the best I have seen.
Rick Zaleski
Edgerrin
James and Reggie Wayne were two of my biggest studs the
whole season and for obvious reasons I could not start either one this week.
I was also hurting at the QB position. I was able to pick up Frank Gore
and Josh McCown this week and they both went off for me. I never heard of
Gore but I have so much confidence in this sight that I picked him up and
threw him in my line-up.
Chris Reino
There were
several weeks this year where the Sunday morning updates allowed me to make
the correct starting lineup decisions.
Rob Fleming
With the
help of Guru I was able to stay away from any major 1st-3rd round busts and
was able to get Carson Palmer and Steve Smith later than I
should have been due to the knowledge that they were ready to step up.
Chris Cannan
I think
your pre-season coverage was fantastic. You've helped me pick sleepers such
as Antonio Gates in 2004, Lamont Jordan and Mike Anderson
in 2005, and many others.
Joe Taylor
I subscribe
to your service because it takes a large amount of stats and inside
information and puts it in an easy to read form. Your predictions are based
on a lot of research and I can tell that you really want to give your
subscribers the best information for their teams. You seem genuinely upset
if you've made a prediction that doesn't turn out quite right.
Jeff Parker
Like most
leagues, unless you had LT or Alexander you were out of it early in 2005.
But the fact that the Guru had me picking Carson Palmer and Steve
Smith early, was the only reason I hung around all year and tied for 2nd.
Joe Curcio
I finally
decided I needed a little help. Bingo - I won the championship and cleaned
up on most of the awards. Your site helped me with draft day and a pre-draft
trade (we keep 4 to 7 players in a keeper league) when I grabbed Carson
Palmer for a 3rd round pick after I saw him listed as a huge sleeper. I
then grabbed Larry Johnson (from your draft strategy with my first
round pick - I picked 10th) after all the rookies were snatched up. I also
used your rankings for my last round pick for Indy Defense. With your IDP
info I had the best players by far.
Gary Lawley
Your
excellent (and vast) preseason coverage and your in-season insights and
analysis accounts for at least 80% of my success over the past few years in
my 10 year-old twelve team league of serious fantasy players. I give myself
5% of the credit for making the decision to continue my subscription to TGR
and for following my own instincts now and then, and I figure 15% goes to
blind luck for only having an average number of injuries to key players, and
following your advice during the season to target able replacements. As an
example, Jonathan Wells and Frank Gore were key subs for me
down the stretch after Brian Westbrook went down. Big props to you!
Matt Fouse
I have been
a subscriber for many years and have come to trust John Hansen and
the advice of his crew. This year (based solely on Guru advice) I picked up
Andre Johnson off waivers mid season and held him until healthy. I
used him in our super bowl (week 16) and it was his long TD that was the
difference in a very ugly and close game which I won. Had it not been for
AJ and the trust I have in The Guru, I would have lost that game.
Louis
finocchiaro
I'll be
back again next year and I'll be looking for the next Lamont Jordan,
Carson Palmer, Joey Galloway, Jeremy Shockey, Steve
Smith - all players I got for great value on draft day thanks to
Fantasyguru.com.
Joe V
This is
hands down the best fantasy football site out there. When people in my
league laughed at me for taking Steve Smith in the 5th round
(obviously a steal) and Larry Johnson in the 6th round (to back up
Priest), it's nice to know I will have the last laugh as I try to bring home
the trophy.
Josh Feldman
I've tried
other sites for info and tools, but none can match the quality of
information on FantasyGuru.com. My particular favorite feature is the Draft
Plan. I've followed it for the past two years and I'm proud to say that I'm
the league champion in my 12-team league for the past two years!
Rob
RodenParker
I want to
commend you for all the new additions this year. My particular favorite was
Hansen on Strategy. The entire series is a goldmine for both beginner and
experienced fantasy player alike. And in an era of increasing prices and
decreasing quality...Fantasy Guru stands like a pillar. I consider your
service to be the best value in the Fantasy Football realm!
Mike
Sullivan
Your
content is terrific. You guys are very quick to update, even if it's just a
headline update. It allows subscribers to hit the WW before other chumps
that are too cheap to get great info.
Andy Yang
Last year,
I was on an auto draft that went horribly, but through the use of the Waiver
Wire section on the site I was able to turn around an 0-4 season to sneak
into the playoffs and ultimately win the league. This year I out-drafted
everyone ending up with Steve Smith, Carson Palmer, and
Santana Moss in rounds 5,7, and 11 respectively. I owe this to the 2005
Draft Plan.
Tyler Harris
I get
emails all the time asking how I knew to pick-up a player when I did and
play him that week. I would love to tell them I got the information here but
that would let the competition know my secret. Thanks for all the hard work
putting the reports together in a timely manner.
Dan Pearson
Your
up-to-the-minute injury news on Sunday is worth the price alone.
Rich Dunn
After
reading and digesting your draft plan, I used it almost to the letter and
came up with my finest draft in the 19 years I have been doing fantasy
sports. Picking up Larry Johnson after drafting Holmes early led to
the Super bowl (which I lost when Santana Moss came up big for my
opponent, and Rudi Johnson failed to score for me). Don't know how
you can improve upon it next year!
Wally
Schilpp
I have been
a member of this site for 4 years now and it is the best site on the
Internet. I kept Willis McGahee in my keeper league when he was
injured his rookie year and pick up LaMont Jordan last year when i
saw it on the site. This year i picked up Chester Taylor when i saw
it on the site.
Carl J.
Stoker
Total
profit this year: Approximately $19,000, after subtracting entry fees and
expenses, from 22 leagues. It's like a second seasonal job, and The Guru has
been my personal Guru for years!
Lee Harmon
Based on
following the Draft Plan, I walked away from my draft with in my opinion my
best team in 20 years of playing FFL. On draft night, I ended up with
Carson Palmer, Shawn Alexander, LaMont Jordan, Caddie
Williams, Larry Johnson, Torry Holt, Hines Ward,
Chris Chambers, Jeremy Shockey, Jerramy Stevens, Shayne
Graham and Indy defense. The season was academic as I dominated
my league like no other had in our leagues 15 year history including a
152-70 Championship game. It was the most dominant performance in our
league history. John Tesoriero
The value
of the information Fantasy Guru provides is as simple as getting your
insider updates in a Friday afternoon email vs. reading about them Sunday
morning in the local paper before you set your lineup. If there was a
waiver move to be made, you missed it, but the FG subscriber had that backup
RB on his roster Friday night.

I think identifying potential big impacts could help. Last year, I
think you had a read on Antonio Gates and this year you had a beat on
Larry Johnson playing a big role.

I subscribe
because you give not only the best insight I've found, but you also report
significant developments faster than any of the other services I subscribe
to. I gain enough value from your articles to make informed decisions and
even to outguess my opponents come draft time or pulling selections off of
the waiver wire. I mean, how great is it to have someone call you out on an
opinion, only to be able to shove it back in their face with a specific
example of someone you grabbed a week BEFORE he blew up (see: Marion
Barber this year)!

I have been
in a keeper league for 8 yrs now, and since subscribing to Fantasy Guru, I
have finished 2nd, 1st, 3rd (bad week 17 luck), and now in the championship
game for the 4th straight year, #1 in pts 3 yrs in a row! My teams have more
depth, less risk to injuries, and my rosters have allowed me a chance to be
competitive despite sitting studs in week 17! This is a great site with tons
of info and analysis!

I went way
overboard this year, entering 10 leagues. I am a John Hansen disciple
through-and-through. I agree with 99% of what he says, and feel he has by
far the most insight of any analyst out there. I agreed with his assessment
of Kevin Jones this preseason, and drafted Jones high in almost every
league. You might think that this move killed me, but in fact Hansen's draft
strategy and overall advice is so sound, that it ended up just being a minor
hiccup.

Without
question, this is the definitive FFL site out there. The comprehensive
coverage, together with great insight and thoughts, make this the best
repository for everything Fantasy Football. I'll be back in 2006!

Not only
was the Draft Plan immensely helpful, but during the season the Waiver led
me to pick up Joey Galloway and Neil Rackers, who logged in
big points all season long. But in the playoffs, when I had to sit some of
my studs (Palmer, Alexander, Shockey hurt), the WW gave me some good
insights. Outstanding job.

This site
takes all other Fantasy sites to the house, each and every year. And it just
gets better all the time. I would never go anywhere else.

I was
contemplating dropping Andre Johnson but you guys said to hold on and
take advantage of his favorable schedule. Well, his 53-yard TD in week 16
won me the championship!
Alex Parker
Defensive coverage was great. I picked Chicago in the 17th round of my
draft and used them every week.
Robert Brown
Your weekly RB
WW pick ups were great. I won games off Sam Gado, Najeh Davenport and Ryan
Moats.

I must tell
you your final report on players (inactive-injured etc.) just before 1pm
and 4pm game times truly puts the icing on the cake for me too be winning
consistently in my league.

I have
dominated in my fantasy baseball league, partly because of the great insight
provided by your site (thanks again for Cliff Lee tip!).

The info I
received at the Guru site was invaluable. In one league, I used the Guru
rankings to come up with a rag-tag bunch (Josh McCown, Vernand
Morency, et al) that won me a championship with my big guns (Palmer,
Shockey, Mike Anderson - all touted by Guru that got me to that spot)
either limited or not playing. Not only does I get expert information and
analysis from the Guru staff, but there are a great bunch of people on the
message boards that are nice (seen some awful sites with swearing and lots
of flaming and fighting) and knowledgeable with receiving questions.

This year I
followed your advice and drafted Carson Palmer and now have a great
keeper prospect (the other team owners were a bit skeptical that I took him
so early - but we knew). I also drafted Lamont Jordan and Larry
Johnson, add to that I already had Chad Johnson as a keeper and
my team won the championship this year and is looking a strong force for the
next few years with Keepers Palmer, LJ, Lamont and Chad.

Your
preseason information is great. It helped me develop my draft plan.
Basically, if your able to draft right - you win! You won't believe my team
this year: QB Carson Palmer, RB - Willis McGahee, Rudi
Johnson, Larry Johnson, Kevin Jones, WR - Steve Smith,
Anquan Boldin. At that point, who cares about the kicker & defense?

This is the
only site I would pay good money to use each year. I have been playing
fantasy football for 20 years, have run our dynasty league for 18 years, and
feel I know more than most "experts" about fantasy football. Regardless,
John Hansen supplements my knowledge with his truly-expert take, and he
helps me make the right decisions on personnel and on my weekly lineups.
John's great for sleepers and deep sleepers, too. If you're a novice, you'll
need his direction; if you're an expert, you'll need his perspective. Rest
assured: I'll be ponying up again in '06.
